The Long Hot Summer We Didn't Have

To my one follower, I apologise for the long layoff between blogs, but the Antipodes non-summer arrived and I was looking after my two sons over the 6 plus weeks of summer school holidays.

December started quite promising, but the closer we got to Christmas, the more dire the weather became. January and a lot of February so far have been overcast every day. Neither rain nor sun, often humid and infrequently blah.

It might be considered black humour, but I wonder if this nondescript weather has seen a rise in the sale of razor blades.

If this summer is a sign of global warming, I'm moving to another planet. Sort of like moving to Australia, but inter-galactically.
