Brother, the tall kauri,
ancient, heavy heart,
green-shooted with promise.
Across great oceans,
the whale song love
melding our hearts in unison.
You, with a huge heart,
cannot turn your back on
a huge love to fill it.

A big impact in these few lines, Andrew. Really feel the emotion and the intensity. The metaphor of brother/kauri and all the ancient roots associated -- I love that opening.
